PRESSING TOWARD PETROGRAD

A Moscow wireless states;—The Finnish troops are. landing on the cast coast ai- Lake Ladoga. The Finnish operations in the Olonets region, coupled with the operations on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, indicate that the Bolsheviks’ enemies intend to develop the pincers movement, squeezing Petrograd from east, and west.
The War Office reports that Russian infantry occupied Povycnets, at the northern extremity of Lake Onoga. Tlio Bolsheviks, before evacuating, removed all males ovcr’fourtcen.
