A strange tragedy has occurred. The twin brothers John and Joseph Locci, who we.ro conjoined like the Siamese twins, accumulated a .small lortune by appearing at circuses. They wore separated by a surgical operation and bought a farm, but many business quarrels ended in a desperate fight with knives, wherin Joseph was stabbed to death. John, who was seriously wounded, was arrested.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. PAN-LATIN ALLIANCE. NEW YORK, April 14. The Sun’s Paris correspondent reports a movement towards a. pan-Latin alliance, instead of tho League of Nations, is gaining strength. AMERICAN VICTORY LOAN. NEW YORK, April 12. A Washington message to tho New' York Times says it is officially announced that the Victory Loan will amount to 4,600,000,000 dollars. A serious explosion of munitions occurred on Tuesday, an Australian officer being killed and many Australian soldiers injuied. Details are lacking. United Se- ice. BOLSHEVIKS IN TURKEY. (Received April 23, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, April 22. It is reported that there is a Soviet revolution in Turkey.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assu. GLASGOW RIOTERS SENTENCED. (Received April 23, 11,40 a.m.) LONDON, April 19. The trial of 12 men who were connected with the Glasgow riots has been concluded. Shinwell has been sentenced to five months’ imprisonment, and Gallagher, Murray and M’Cartney to three months’. The others, including Kirkwood wore found not guilty.
