A stop-work meeting of members of the wool section of the Wellington United Storemen’s Union was held to. discuss the questions of increased rates of pay, overtime pay, and other concessions. The outcome of the meeting is that the union is desirous of another conference with the Brokers’ Association. The latter is willing to agree to some of the men’s demands, but declines others.
