LAND AND ESTATE AGENTS.
A TARANAKI ASSOCIATION FORMED. The land and estate agents of Taranaki have formed themselves into an association, and a.t a rrieeting held at Stratford on Thursday last, rules and regulations were adopted embodying a uniform scale of charges which have to be adhered to by the members under a heavy penalty by the executive. The association is to be registered under the Unclassified Societies Act, and will affiliate with the Dominion Association. The officers for the ensuing year are: —President, Mr. N. King; vice-presi-dents. Messrs. J. Clarke, H. Graves, and IV A. Hewitt; committee, Messrs. Uyuskey, A. Grant, J. Hipnett, L. A. Nolan. J. G. Osborne. J. M'Clupgape. M. M'Garry, Yardley, and .1. H. Thompson,- secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. L. Humphries; auditor, Mr. J. S. S. Medley.
