AUTO-CYCLE UNION.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. PRO PRESS ASSOCIATION*. WELLINGTON, August 23. Tho annual conference of representatives of the Now Zealand Auto-Cycle Union was held at Wellington to-day. Race dates wore allotted as follows: —■ Danuevirke, Labour Day; Hawera, November 20; Asbhurst, January 1; Palmerston North, January 22; Marten, March 19; Napier, April 19 and 21; Christchurch, February 15 and 16. Championship events: Heavyweight, Palmerston North; middleweight, Marton; lightweight, Hawera. Tho following officers were elected :—r President, G. T. Orstonson (Palmerston North); vice-presidents, A. S. Erskine (Napier), J. Gray (Hawera), J. Dawbor (Palmerston North), J. M'Dougall (Marton) and A. Nash (Danuevirke); secretary and treasurer, J. L. Lloyd (Dannevirko).
