CENTRAL SCHOOL BALL.

A meeting of ladies was held on Tuesday to make arrangements for the plain and fancy dress ball to bo held on November 9. Mrs. Docknll piesidc(l and the following ladies were formed into a committee with power to add to their number: —Mesdames E. M. Smith, Moverley, Hoffmanp Rus : sell Re veil, Sullivan, Billing, Mollison, Davison, Coleman, Hagger, Hewlett, Healv, MTlrov, Thompson, A idem, Hurlestone, Bishop, Lawrence, Parkinson and Zemba, Misses L. Harker and 0. Moverley. The following prices were deckled on: Gentlemen 3s, ladies 2s, double ticket 4s, children ‘ Is. Arrangements were made to canvass for provisions for the supper. Additional offers to help in this direction will ha welcome. The next meeting will be held on October 19.
