Bradford wool is strong and advancing; 64 ks 42d, super b()’s 41d, common bO’s 40d, 56’s 3G-ld, 60ks 32*d, 46’s 28cl, 40’s 26d_. Copper.—Spot, £77 to £77 12s_ Gd. Tin.—Spot, £166 15s to £166 ss. Pig-iron, 74s Bd. Lead.—Spot, £2S to £27. Silver, 264 d. Sugar, steady. American granulated, 32s 6d. ‘ . _ ( . Butter, tending to be easier; L4s is asked for Danish on the 13th, the reduction being due to smaller demand from Germany. The Rimutaka s cargo is clearing well; suited is 164 s to 1665, and unsalted is 168 s. Australian butter is cleaved. Ike arrivals of Australian and New Zealand butter in the first half of December will be 155,000 boxes, and this is making buyers * cautious. Cheese, from New Zealand, 90s. MATTHEWS, G AMLIN AND CO. Matthews, Gamliu and Co. report:— On Wednesday wo held our usual weekly sale at our Inglewood yards, and had a fair yarding of stock, practically everything being disposed of at verv satisfactory prices, especially bulls and fat and forward cows.
