BOWLING
NEW YEAR TOURNAMENT. The usual New Year rink tournament promoted by the threo town clubs will, be held on January 1 and 3. Tho entrance will be 10s per rink, and the not proceeds will be devoted to the Taranaki, Bowlers’ Wounded Soldiers’ Fund. Provided sufficient entries are received the entrants will be divided into sections. the winners of sections playing off. The tournament is not to be confined to the throe town clubs, but is open to all clubs affiliated to the Taranaki Centre. Entries close with the soertary, Mr. O. N. Firth, on Wednesday. December 22*
