ELEVENTH REINFORCEMENTS. 300 MEN STILL WANTED. WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. It is announced by the Defence authorities to-day that “on paper,” as a result of last week’s recruiting, the Eleventh Reinforcements, who aro going into camp on the 14th inst., have boon secured. It was expected, however, that a considerable proportion of the latest men who had enlisted would bo rejepted as medically unfit, and that a further number of those who had signed on for the Elevenths would fail to turn up. This_ being so, the Defence authorities required a further 300 men to enlist at once, to go into camp next week. The percentage of registrations and enlistments, including unfits, on Saturday last tor the four military districts throughout the Dominion were as under, those for the preceding week being given for the sake of comparison:—
