AT A DANNEVIRKE CAFE. PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. DANNEVIRKE, Dec. 4. What looks like a case of attempted arson occurred early this morning, when a big wooden structure in High Street, known as tho Cafe de' Paris, was discovered on fire. .Tho brigade effected a good save, but a good deal of internal damage was done. The building is owned by J. Westlake, Pabiatua, and insured for £IOOO in the State Office, and the furniture, owned by the late lessee, Mr. IV. J. Rountree, for £l5O in the State Office. Indications point to the building having been sot on fire in two places, but there is no evidence at present as to the perpetrator, Rountn-e suspended the business after the discovery of an incipient fire at tho premises a few days ago.
