SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LICENSING. ■ BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT. (Received Dec. 4, 8.40 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 4. The Assembly, dealing with tho Hotel Adjustments Bill, fixed tho penalty for a second offence of sly grog-selling at a year’s imprisonment without the option of a fine. An amendment prohibiting the supplying of liquor to minors was adopted. A proposal to post-war the referendum on the basis of 9.30 closing and- compensation to licensees was rejected. The Legislative Council rejected the Bill recently passed by tho Assembly providing for aiult suffrage for tho Council elections.
