SACRED CONCERT AT AOTEA

TO-MORROW AFTERNOON. Our readers are reminded of the sacred concert which takes place at “Aotea” on Sunday afternoon, the proceeds of which are in aid of the National and Belgian funds. Messrs. Sole Bros.’ grounds form one of the most picturesque of the many beauty spots of New Plymouth, and whenever they are thrown open to tho public the privilege of visiting them is always looked forward to with delight by a very large number of residents, not only of New Plymouth hut of the surrounding district. The grounds have never looked better than they dp at the present time, and seeing that to-morrow’s function will mark the first occasion on which “Aotea” has been open to the public this season, a very big crowd of visitors is anticipated. The gates will b© open from 1.30 p.m., and arrangements have been made whereby motor-cars and ’buses will run from the centre of the town. The Citizen’s will provide the music, and afternoon tea will be available from 3 p.m. A special invitation.is’extended to troopers and returned troopers to bo present.
