WEDDING

LOESCH—ABBOTT,

On Tuesday afternoon, at St. Mary’s Church, the wedding took place of Miss Laura Abbott, third daughter of Mr. John Abbott, of Now Plymouth, to Mr. Frank Colin Loesch. The Rev. A. H. Colvilo performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away hy her brother, Mr. J. W. Abbott, was attired in white crepe do chine prettily trimmed with Limerick lace, tho train lined with pale pink. She wore a veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet, the gift of Mrs. R. 'White. She was attended by Miss Gladys Moon, who wore cream silk, and black crepe do chine hat trimmed with pink roses and lancer plume, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Tho best man was Mr. A. J. Tunbridge. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold wristlet watch, and to tho bridesmaid a silver purse-bag. After the ceremony a reception was hold at tho residence of tho bride’s father, where the guests were received by Mrs. J. Foreman, of Ohakune, sister of tho bride, who wore heliotrope silk with lace overdress. Later, Mr. and Mrs, Loesch left on their honeymoon, tho latter wearing a tailored costume and white hat lined with pink and trimmed with grey feathers. The happy couple were the recipients of many handsome and costly presents.
