FJ.TJT.RSTJF, TRAINING-NOTES. PER PB.ESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Nov. 2. The weather was fine for ivork at Eilerslie this morning. The work waa principally confined to sprinting-on the grass and sand. Kitty Bollaiis beat Independence over four furlongs on the grass in 48 4-Ssec.; Eligible covered sis furlongs on the sand in 1 min.. ISfeec.; Sweet Corn ran four furlongs on tho sand in 50 3-ssec.; Play Off did tho same distance in S2sec.; Crawford ran six furlongs on tho sand in Imin. 235e0.; Lady Elysian did four furlong on the grass in 49 4-osec.; Master Strowan was schooled over the big fences, performing in good style. After breakfast Marco Bello sprinted four furlongs on the grass in 495e0.; Lady KUlworth did the same distance in 50 l-ssec.; Rakanui ran five furlongs on the two-year-old track" in Imin. 2 4-ssec.’; Tinkler, who was slightly amiss, did slow work; Rewi Poto beat Ngapoto over seven furlongs on tho grass in Imin. 335e0.; Glenroy covered four furlongs on the grass in 50tsoc. A lot of others were exercised.
