THE KIKUYU CASE.

STATEMENT BY ARCHBISHOP. BT ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, April 24. The Archbishop of Canterbury, in a .statement relative to the Kikuyu ca.se, .says that, though the Church of England maintains and emphasises her episcopal system, she docs not necessarily place outside the church every other system and body of men. The Archbishop sees no reason to restrict a Bishop *in a mission field inviting ministers of other churches to address his people, provided the Diocesan Bishop's authority is maintained. He makes a similar statement as to the administration of the Communion to devout Christians, who are not Anglicans, and arc temporarily without access to the ministrations of their own churches.
