WEDDING.

EXEL —CLARKE. A quiet wedding took place on June 5, at St. Joseph’s Church, New' Plymouth, when Miss M. I. Clarke was married to Mr. J. Exol. Tho bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. E. Clarke, woro a stylish travelling costume of saxo blue, with trimming to match, and a pretty grey hat trimmed with kid and lancer plumes. Miss Clarke, who acted as bridesmaid, wore » navy blue tailor-made costume, with a white hat trimmed with mauve, plumes. Mr. F. E. Clarke was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Exol were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents, including a very handsome salad bowl presented by the New r Plymouth Fire Brigade, and a silver cake basket and teapot from the members of tho Ladies’ Committee of the Fire Brigade Ball. Tho happy couple left by tlio midday train for their future homo, near Auckland.
