TO-DAY’S WEATHER.
Tho Rev, D. C. Bates’ forecast for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. today is as follows: —- Moderate to strong easterly winds and veering by east to north, then freshening at times; expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts; weather conditions are threatening for an unfavourable change in the weather. The night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland, but milder after about 24 hours. The barometer has a falling tendency, but falling fast after 24 hours to 36 hours.
