The suffragettes fired the waitingroom on each platform at Hazohvell, at Birmingham, using fire-lighters and wool soaked in paraffin. The fires were extinguished. MISPLACED LENIENCY. (Received June 27, 9.50 a.m. ) LONDON, June 26. Harriet Kerr, the last of the suffragette conspirators, has been released after hunger striking. In view of Mr. Justice Phillimore’s remarks when sentencing them the police authorities arc surprised at the early release of all the prisoners. SENTENCE FOR INCENDIARISM. (Received Juno 27, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, Juno 26. Sydney Vigors has been sentenced to five years’ penal servitude in connection with the burning of tho Westminster Wood Paving Company’s store at Fulham. The store was burning for six hours. Suffragette literature -was discovered.
