THE SCOTT WILL CASE.
GIFTS TO LADY SAOKVILLE. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Deceived June 27, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, June 26. In the probate case in the will of Sir John Murray Scott, Mr. F. Smith, counsel for Malcolm Scott, addressed the court for nine hours. Ho read a letter wherein Lady Sackvillo called Sir John “Dear old Seery.” He called her “Dear old Jose.” She bitterly upbraided him for breaking his promise in altering the will after a twelve years’ friendship. Sir John replied that he had.promised nothing, but had treated her not illiberally. Mr. Smith mentioned that Sir John’s gifts'to her ladyship totalled £84,000 in ten years.
