PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS.

TENDERS TO BE INVITED. ' Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 3. The Premier stated, in the course of a reply to a deputation with reference to expenditure on public buildings, that within the next two or three weeks tenders would be called for new Parliament Buildings at Wellington. The time had come when it was impossible for Parliament to go on any longer in the old buildings. This meant in the course of four years an expenditure of £250,000. The building would probably take seven or eight years to complete, but about £BO,OOO would bo required in the next year or two.
