A CARELESS 1 SPORTSMAN. Per Press Association. HASTINGS, May 1. Chas. Flanders, aged 19, met with a fatal accident whilst duck shooting this morning. Deceased slipped when crossing a deep drain and tried to haul ■himself out by putting the trigger guard against the botom wire of a fence alongside. The gun was loaded and the charge lodged in his neck and death was instantaneous.
