The increasing popularity of the Vancouver mail service is shown by the fact that the Makura, sailing for Vancouver to-morrow, takes a full complement of passengers, about 140 of whom will join the vessel here. The demand for New Zealand produce in Canada is also steadily increasing, and the Makura takes 1500 boxes of butter and large lines of onions, hides, frozen fish, etc.
