NORTHERN TERRITORY.
A FAVOURABLE REPORT. OF MINERAL RESOURCES. C.v Electric Telegraph.--Copyright (Received April 13, 8.10 a.m.) .MELBOURNE, April 13. The Northern Territory expedition found the blades peaceable and welldisposed. The leader is not a mining man, and hesitates to express an opinion as to the mineral resources. There are hundreds of miles oi highly mineralised gold-bearing country, the ,-urtare of which has only been scratched. Me is confident that expert opinion will justify heavy expenditure on water conservation and improved communication. Tho development of mineral resources will become a big factor in stimulating progress.
