UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 0, The University tenuis tournament v as finished to-day. The weather was fine in the morning, but was wet in the afltrnoon, Tire finals resulted as follow:—Ladies’ Singles; Miss Cross (Canterbury) beat Miss Tenent (Wellington) 9_6. * Ladies Doubles; Misses Cross and Jamieson (Canterbury) beat Misses Hunt and Farnio (Otago) 9—4, In tile Men’s Singles the final between Jennings and Smith, both of Canterbury. will be played in Christchurch. In the Men's Doubles, Jennings and Smith beat Clegborn and Parker (Wellington), G—2, 6—3. In the Combined Doubles Miss Cross and Jennings beat Ji!s< Tenent and Clegborn 6— 2, 6—o.
