A STEAMER ASHORE.
ON NEW SOUTH WALES COAST. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, Dec. IG, The coasting steamer Brooklyn, while entering Crook Haven Heads, ran on a reef. A large hole was rent in her bottom by a rock which projected. She filled with waver in'a few minutes. The crew was rescued ten hours later. There is hope that a portion of the cargo, which is chiefly Christmas goods, will be saved.
