DIPHTHERIA ON THE ZEALANDIA, SYDNEY, Dec. 17. The Zealandia is quarantined owing to an outbreak of diphtheria. Measures are to bo taken after coaling, and when it is safe to do so she will depart for New Zealand. RAILWAY COLLISION. (Received Dec. 18. 8.43 a.in.) PERTH, Dec. 18. A heavily-laden passenger train coir lided with the tail of a goods train, which overlapped the points. The overlapping portion and the passenger engine wero smashed. The passengers were badly shaken by the impact, but uninjured. LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY. (Received Dec. 18, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec, 18. Two little girls named Duncan wero run down on a level crossing at Tcralba and killed. NEW SOUTH WALES HARVEST. (Received Dec. 18, 9.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 18. The Herald's mid-harvest estimate of the wheat yield is 20,600,000 bushels, with an average of about ten bushels per acre.
