Schultz's sentence of imprisonment for espionage will be with hard labour. : The severity of the sentence has caused I a sensation, Hipiscli, who is an on- | gineer at the dock yard, alleged that j he had been promised forty marks j weekly by Schultz. The judge stated that Schultz made ; a large collection of plans after a I couple of interviews in January, and 1 transferred them to emissaries in Eng- j land. The plans provided far-reaching i enlightenment on the most intimate j military and naval affairs. Von | Maack gave written information :e-l garding the commissioning of North J German Lloyd and Hamburg-American : steamers, Wnlf was employed in the ! North German machinery works, Bremen.
