PRIVATE HOTEL DESTROYED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 15. A two-storey building, known as the St. Heiier Hotel, at St. Helier's Bay, was destroyed by fird 1 , with the contents, early this morning. Tho building was owned by Hancock and Co. and occupied by Brinsmead and Dickenson as a store and private hotel. The insurances were £I4OO on tho building and £3OO cjt, th&;|uniituro in the Commercial Uihon'‘otfice. The occupants escaped in night attire.
