STOCKMEN MURDERED.
BY AUSTRALIAN NATIVES. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Received Sept. 7, 10.15 a.m.) PERTH, Sept. 7. Stockmen named James Thomson and George Shoesmith and a' native boy, were murdered by natives while asleep on the stock route in the north of Murchison district. They left Hall’s Creek for Wiluna with cattle in January. Their remains were found partially buried in a shallow grave. The skulls were fractured, and the bodies had been otherwise maltreated. A punitive party is being organised.
