WELLINGTON WOOL SALE. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report as follows on Wellington wool , sale:— At tlio third sale of tho season, a ; total or -22,700 bales we,ro offered by : tho associated brokers, of which we submitted 7571 bales. The quality of the wool offered was mostly composed ; of strong crossbred and rough logstainod clips, and all of the wool of- 1 feml was much heavier in grease as compared with previous offerings. There was a large attendance of buyers representing all markets, but' competition was very dull. Prices, as i compared with last sale, showed an j all-round decrease of from }d to I}d ; according to quality, although several linos light iu grease and suitable form tho American market,' realised close on ! to late rates. All strong wools, we I estimate, showed a decline on lost solo I prices of from }d to Jd, and in somo cases Id. Bellies and pieces which i have, during the early part of tho sea- ■
son, boon taken for tho French market, allowed a decline of from Id to IJd. Tho following will give an indication of prices ruling as compared with last sale;
