FIRES AT FEILDING.

HOTEL AND COTTAGE DESTROYED

FEILDLVfi, Sept. 24. The Cheltenham Hotel, owned by Mr. E. J. Riddiford and leased to R. W. Beadnall. was totally destroyed by fire last night. It was a new buikling, the hotel having iieen similarly destroyed in August last year. The furniture was insured for £500 in the Commercial Union. The building insurance is not available.*

Another fire occurred at tho same time in a cottage at Makino, about four miles from Feilding.
