tfJE\V PLYMOUTH CLUB. The New Plymouth Homing Pigeon Club opened its season yesterday with a flock race from Waverley. Two i hampers containing 110 birds were forwarded to the station master for lioeI ration at 11.30 a.m. The weather conditions were slightly against the birds, but very fair time was recorded. The winner covered a distance of 58 miles air line measurement in 1 hour 49 minutes. Following was the result: — V. H. BeaPs Antarctic, time lhr. 49min., velocity 940 yds. 2ft. 2in., 1; W Francis's Princess Ena, time lhr. 491min., velocity 933—1—8, 2j J. Sparks' Paddy Lynch, time lhr. 49J nnn., velocity 932—2—9,. 3. The next race is from Aramoho. j
