Poultry continues to oom# to hand in , large numbers every week. Last Saturday we penned over two hundred birds and all lots met with good comuetrtion. There ia an especially good demand for young fat ducks end cookerels suitable for table use. - We quote ducks 2s 3d to 3s, drakes $s, cockerels (fat) 2s to 2s 24, poor Is 74 to 2s, hens Is 7d to 2s Id, pullets Is 74 to 2s 6d, roosters Is to Is Bd, purebred do. up to Bb each, purebred trio 18s 6d, turkey hens 4s, gobblers 5s 64. Fruit. — Large supplies of. fc&ples have arrived during the week a£} found a good market. A consignmeat 6f green bananas also realised a , satisfactory price, namely 8« 9d <*•& Apples, Stunners, JOs i to lls 64; Red Dessert, 10b tj 10s 6d; Washington seconds, 8s to Sb 6d; small , cases, 3s 9d to 4s 64; l^.nons 9s, passions 6s per half oase.
