APPLICATION FOR SUBSIDY.
Messrs. Morton and Trimble reported with reference to the application of the Stratford Committee for subsidy olaimed from the department on the amount or £60 11s id raised by the committee for the purpose of building a shelter shed. They were quite satisfied that the whole of the items making up the ,£6O 11s Id were absolutely genuine and that no" moneys were therein- included on which any subsidy had been previously claimed or received. The report was adopted and a copy of same will be forwarded to the De. partment.
