ALLAN HAMILTON'S DRAMATIC COMPANY.
'1 ho members ot this combination, numbering 3-5 people, left Auckland la>t Monday, and are due to reach here on Friday morning. As already announced, the attraction selected for New Plymouth will be the comedydian.a "A Message trom Mars," a work which lends itself to good acting, startling effects, and elaborate mounting from the scenic artist's point of view. On staging the drama during his re-cently-concluded Sydney season, Mr. Hamilton is said to have been particularly fortunate in surrounding himßelf with a most capable coterie of players, wlnlst carte blanche was given to the Econic artist (Mr. Harry Whaite), who is said to have excelled himself in the stage pictures for this production. The results of Mr. Hamilton's labours was quickly recognised by the play-going community of Sydney, which is said to have crowded the Palace Theatre to its utmost capacity for twelve weeks. Mr. (Jeorge Cross will essay the part of Horace Parker, the selfish being whom the messenger from Mars (Mr. Wilton Power) has undertaken to reform. Mr. John Hesford takes the part of the "Tramp,"' and the whole of the members ot the company are said to be fitted well with their respective parts. The box plan is open at the Colonial Piano Co.
