THE EDUCATIONAL SYLLABUS
> (To the Editor.) . Sir,— lt is quite time, the School Committees of the Dominion. took seriously to the waste of time in the riseles? subjects -which are crammed into the hoadfe of the young children whr attend the State 'schools.. , l was. pleased to see that tho householders' meeting of the School Committee passed a resolution to the effect that more time should be" given to the ( threc R,'s ,and not so much waste of time. or useless subjects. Would it not be p wise course to get all the- School Com-mittees-hi'the'Dominion to place the matter well before the Minister of Education and see what can be done in th* alteration of the syllabus. At the present time it seems that the mode is tr be "Jack 'of all trades and master of none." — I am. etc.. A LOVER OF THE THREE R'S.
