SWIMMING.

NEW ZEALAND RECORDS^

; Per Press Association. j c WELLINGTON, March 25: !» . In the swimming match at Thorndon baths to-night, three competitors beat the New Zealand record of 64fsec over 100 yards, Roberts, taking. 62$ sec, Ronayne 63sec, /ana Heaily 64sed. It^is probable, however that' these times will not be accepted as official, owing to the baths being nine inches short of fifty yards, so that the actual distance covered was only 99£ yards. In the Te Aro baths, B. C. Freyberg swam 440 yards in 6min Bsec, equal to the New Zealand record.
