Members of 4he partj* probably returned to their winter quar4 ters at Cape Royds in M'Murdo Sound in time to depart not later fhan February 15. x / A scientific investigation, was to be undertaken in the southern seas, but if the conditions were unfavourable., it would be abandoned, and the * vessel is expected to come on without delay.
