THIRTY-SEVEN RESCUED.
(Received Feb. 18, 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 17. Of the 147 entombed miners at the West Stanley colliery, 37 have been rescued. It is feared that; the remainder have perished. , The majority of the survivors were saved through remaining in a byway until the gases cleared. Many bodies were badly burned and mutilated. (
