Hides, etc.—At the sales prices were steady; 4370 bales of Australasian salted hides were offered and 1367 sold, the price for Queenslands being s^d ; 2750 bales of dry were offered and 432 sold, the price tor Sydneys being s§d. The leather market is unchanged. Basils arc Id dearer. Rabbits—The market is overstocked with shot rabbits. Warmer weathei has made the trade in colonial slack, though the scarcity of young sorts continues. Frozen meat—Mutton and lamb markets are unchanged. Beef: Fores 3 3-16 d, hinds unchanged. River Plate mutton, unchanged. River Plate beef: Fores 3 3-16 d, hinds unchanged. Shares—Waihi Gold: Buyers £8 16s 3d, sellers £8 18s 9d. JunctionBuyers 33s 9d, sellers 36s 3d. Wheat—A line of 6000 tons of Australian November shipment by steamer sold at about 38s 3d.
