AUCKLAND, Oct. 28. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., reports: Hordes. — Heavy draughts sold at from £29 to £38 los, medium £16 15s to £27 10s, cobs £6 10s to £10 10s, hacks and light harness horses £5 10s to £20. Cattle.—Dairy cows sold at from £4 los to £10 10s, empty cows £2 10s to £3 los, calves £1 Is to £1 18s, grown steers £4 10s to £5 17s. Fat cattle were yarded in average quantities and sold at last week's rates. Oxen realised to 24s per 100 lb and cows 18s to 21b per 100 lb. Steers sold at from £6 los to £11' 12s Gel, cows £3 10s to £8. Sheep.—Wethers sold at from 15s 6d to £1 Is 3d, ewes 13s 9d to 19s. Lambs were in full supply and sold well at from 10s 3d to 18s 6d. Hoggets realised from 12s 6d to 15s 9d. Pigs.—Porkers brought from £1 18s to £2 2s, weaners 10s 6d to 17s 9d, baconers £2 10s to £3 3s.
