DISPUTE WITH HEADQUARTERS. DUNEDIN, Oct. 30. The Otago Cricket Association tonight resolved: "That the committee regrets that the New Zealand Council should have granted permission to any other' Association to play ' a challenge match for the Plunket Shield before the Otago- Auckland match. No notification of the resolution stated to have been passed at a meeting of the New Zealand Council on July 16 has been forwarded to this Association, and if the New Zealand Council adheres to its decision to allow Canterbury to play Auckland at Christmas this Association will have to withdraw its challenge as a protest against the action of the Council."
