THE SCARLET TROUBADOURS. , . fi - * The "Scarlet Troubadours" are a Comedy Costume Company. Their efforts have been to appeal not ohfy to the educated musician who enjoys good music, but also to those who like ■their music enlightened, by, the introduction of refined humour and harmless mirth. Mr Edward Branscombe has personally selected the artists forming this company. • ' ■* Miss May Glenn (prima donna) is' from the LyriG -Theatre, London; Mr Sydney Mannering was principal tenoi' with the Mo<?dy-Menners Opera Co. ; Mr Alfred Cunningham and Mr Ford Waltham were both late members of the famous London Meister Glee Singers; Mr Percival Mackenzie (the artliutnoufist) is said to be in the front rank of England's crayon artists and has been twice honoured by a command to appear before His Majesty the King, when lie drew an impression picture in the record time of w seconds ; and M r 'Edgar Warwick enjoys the reputation of being one of London's foremost society entertainers, and a prince bf_ funmakers. The company will only appear how for two nigbis. The' season opens a»> the "Theatre Royal on Tuesday.
