Inquiries made to-day show that the intention is that mails to and from Auckland will continue to he sent via New Plymouth until an all-night train service is inaugurated. There is, moreover, no present intention to alter the Wellington-New Plymouth mail and train service. The only contemplated change just now is to send mails for all places on tho railway as far north as Ohaupo in the Waikato by the overland service.
