The Irish, Anierican athletes who competed at the Stadium have circularised every American college, attacking the British jndges* decisions at the recent Olympic Games. Judge Dowling, American Commissioner at the Olympic Games, and Mr Conway, president of the Irish American Athletic Club, attended a dinner at New York and denounced the British unfair play. Mr Sullivan declared that the Liverpool policemen wore prepared shoes for the tug-of-war:
