NEW SOUTH WALES BUDGET.
By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. SYDNEY, Sept. 24. The Treasurer's Budget statement shows that the revenue for the past year was £15,467,000, and the expenditure £13,790,000. The estimated revenue for the coming year is £14,753,000, and the expenditure £14,442,000, giving a surplus of £300,000. It is expected that the State will receive £600,000 less from the Commonwealth this year than last. The railways' last year ' returned interest at tho rate of £4 10* lOd, yielding a surplus of £671,000.
