THE LANCASHIRE DISPUTE.

The operative spinners of Manchester have accepted the masters' terms, but the cardworkers refuse to acquiesce. This prevents the working of the other departments. Consequently the mills close to-day, 150,000 workers being thrown idle. It is hoped the eardworkors. meanwhile will ballot in favour of the terms.
