PALMESSTON N., Sept. 10. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Palmerston to-day the entry in all classes was below the average. The sheep offered were mostly hoggets. The demand was not keen, and sales were made on a par with recent quotations. We quote: Sheep. — Hoggets 8s 3d to 9s sd, prime wethers 18s. light fat wethers 14s lid, 2-tooth wethers 12s 4d. Cattle. — Yearling steers £2 Bs, 2£year empty heifers £2 10s, springing cows £4 to £4 12s 6d, store cows 14s to 355, fat cows £4.
