Buckland and Sons report : Dairy cows £3 10s to £7 2s 6d, dry £1 10s to £4, young fat calves 3s to 4s 6d, beef 23s to 245, cow 23s per 1001 b. steers £6 10s to £16 2s 6d, cows £3 10s to £8, best wethers 18s to 225, lighter 17s, heavy eyes 18s to 16s, pigs 12s to 18s, porkers £3 Bs, baconers to £4 19s.
