SLY GROG SELLING.

■ INVERCARGILL, August 14. At the Police Court to-day, the adjourned hearing of the case against Frank Poff' resulted in> his conviction of having assisted in the unlawful sale of wnisky. For this he was sent to gaol for three months. Rose Poff, convicted, last week of sly grog selling,, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment; John Fahey, charged with conveying liquor for sale, was fined 30s.
